As the 501st Legion continues to reach out and touch the lives of fans, it also seeks to recognize those who have contributed their time, skills and talents to the Star Wars saga in some special way. INSTRUCTIONS FOR NOMINATIONS
(Note: You must be a 501st Legion member to make a nomination. Nominations should always be made on the Legion level prior to Garrison, Outpost, Squad or Detachment recognition. This helps avoid confusion and embarrassment for all parties involved.)

1. Contact Albin Johnson before inducting an Honorary Member or Friend of the Legion to ensure that someone else hasn't already reserved the nomination. Unless you have a realistic expectation of presenting a plaque within one month's time, please do not attempt to reserve a nomination.

2. Acquire our custom acrylic laser-etched plaque from Damien Metz. This is a standardized 501st plaque and should be considered the "official" item for presentation. If you pay for the plaque, then you are the sponsor and we list you as such on this page. This is a great way to show your respect and admiration for a particular celebrity.

3. Present the plaque to the celebrity and be sure to get good high-resolution photos of the presentation.

4. Submit the photos and Honorary Member information (Name, Contribution to Star Wars, Induction Date, Sponsor Name, who attended the presentation) to the 501st Webmaster for inclusion on 501st.com.
