Bio
I'm Kris Kuipers with Legion ID# 6247. At the urging of my then 16 year old daughter Patricia (now BH-9307) I joined the 501st Legion in February 2008 as Republic Commando "Boss" so "she" could troop Toy's for Tots events with the Georgia Garrison.
My first troop was a special in house Clone Wars sneak preview for Turner Studio / Cartoon Network to promote the first season of the Clone Wars - Animated series.
In January of 2009, I was elected as Commanding Officer of the Georgia Garrison. and served two terms as the CO of Georgia. in 2009 and 2010 I also served as the Executive Officer of the Clone Trooper Detachment under Jason Rucci. I was asked by DL Mark Haskell to assume the role of XO for the Sith Lord Detachment on 2009 and continued in as the Sith Lords XO until I assumed the Detachment Leader position of the Clone Troopers Detachment after a special election in 2010. I was elected Legion Commanding Officer in February of 2011.
Since I became a member of the 501st. my entire family, mostly at the insistence of my daughter have all joined the Legion as TA-5457, BH-9307, and BH-4993.
