Bio
I am Jerome "Rome" Ohnui with Legion ID# 1800. I joined the 501st Legion in April of 2004 with a TIE Pilot costume. My first event was in May of '04 at the Clinton-Macomb Public Library. In January of 2005, I was elected as Squad Leader for the reformed Michigan Squad of the Midwest Garrison, and was named as the 2nd seat to the Legion Council to represent the Garrison. I served as a non-commissioned forum moderator (the only moderator to not hold a Legion office at the time) upon the Legion's move to a forum system from the Yahoo Groups message board.
In 2006, I joined newly-elected Legion Commanding Officer Mark Fordham in his cabinet as the Legion Captain of the Guard. I served in this role for three terms, stepping down in 2009.
I served as Detachment Leader of the Imperial Officer Corps for two terms, from 2009-10 to 2010-11, and declined to run again for the 2011-12 term. The new DL of IOC asked that I stay on as his executive officer.
