This page is to help CRL editors with the formatting necessary to make the CRLs work.

= Prepare Photos if Possible =

The first thing is to upload the photos via the [[Special:MultipleUpload|multiple file upload page]].

* File names should be in the format of XX__costume_description.jpg. For example, TK_esb_helmet.jpg. The name doesn't matter much, but you need to be able to reference them easily.

* The photos should be clear and well lit, and be on a photoshopped white background. If you cannot do this yourself, please contact the LMO team for assistance. Michael can be contacted via sld@ionicdesign.com.

* If you do not have photos for the costume, please continue anyway, leaving the photo names blank for now.

* If you've forgotten the name of your photos, you can find them in the [[Special:ListFiles|list of uploaded files]]. Files in the wiki are referenced by File:imagename, for example File:TK_esb_armordetail.jpeg.

You will need the ID of the detachment in some of the templates:

= What is required to join? =

Members must be 18 years of age or older and own a high-quality costume representing any of the characters conforming to our [[Costuming:CharacterApproval|character approval statement]]. You can find a list of currently recognized costumes in the [[Costuming:CRLbyname|visual guides]] section of the site.

There are no fees and the only requirements pertain to age and costume quality. The 501st is simply a fun, all-volunteer group of fans representing characters from the Star Wars saga. For more information on the goals of the club, read the [http://www.501st.com/mission.php mission statement].
