The Sovereign Protectors Detachment defines two additional, optional levels of costuming excellence: Protector and: Sentential . In the page below, requirements for Protector are listed in blue. Sentinel requirements are in red. Please visit the Sovereign Protectors web site for a full description of these standards.

For 501st membership only the requirements in black need to be met.

• This CRL is a work in progress.
• While this costume must be approved by the Legion Membership Officer, submissions should still go to the local GML, who will post the application in the appropriate section of the Legion forum.
• If you have this costume and would like to assist with this CRL, please contact your detachment leader!
• Please note that the use of the word "should" below does not indicate that a requirement is optional. All instances of should will be replaced with must as this guide is completed.

The following costume components must be present and appear as described below for approval .

• Painted either in matte or gloss-finished, in a black shade that matches the outer robe, with a red visor that allows maximum visibility, but hides the wearer’s features.
  

• Undersuit should be made to resemble that which is seen on the screen. There are no visible pockets on this bodysuit.
  

• Chest plates must be shaped to mimic the visual reference, based on a Storm trooper chest plate.
  

• Back plate: Back plate must be shaped to mimic the visual reference. Based on a Storm Trooper back plate.
  

• Shoulder Bells: Shoulder bells must be shaped to mimic the visual reference and must have a duckbill style based on Storm Trooper shoulder bell.
  

• Abdominal Plates: Abdominal plates must be shaped to mimic the visual reference.
  

• Vambraces/Gauntlets must be shaped to mimic the visual reference
  

• Black, leather or leather-like, enclosed fingered, non-textured, fitted gauntlet style.
• No buckles, straps, or decorative stitching are permitted.
• The three straight lines on the back of the hand (that match some references) are permitted.
  

• Gloves shall be made of leather.

• Gauntlets shall slightly flair-out, upward from the wrist to the mid- forearm.

• Please refer to the Imperial Buckle reference page for information on popular eBay available buckles.
• The belt shall be constructed from a non-textured leather or a leather-like material, approximately 2" (50.8 mm) in width (up to 3" (76.s mm) is acceptable)
• The buckle shall be constructed from a horizontally brushed metal, or metal looking material.
• A single large snap or rivet should be visible approximately 1" (25.4 mm) from the buckle. The belt may be worn with the snap to the right or left of the wearer.
• The buckle size should be approximately 2 5/8" (66.7 mm) high and 4 1/8" (104.5 mm) wide with 0.5" (12.7 mm) radius rounded corners.
• Buckles are adorned with an Imperial Code Disk at the center.
  

• Kama must match respected armor color, made of same material as the flight suit.
  

• Shin armor must be constructed with the same material and color as the armor and reflect the style of Jango Fett shins.
  

• Knee-high, black, lace-less, non-textured, leather or leather-like material. Rubber is not acceptable.
  

• Boot Armor must done in the style of Jango boot armor.
  

Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present must meet the guidelines below.

• Saberpike is to match the visual reference set by the diagram of the Shadow Guard weapon. MAUL sabers on a stick are not acceptable.
