Incinerator Trooper

	Description: Incinerator Trooper Prefix: TK Detachment: First Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment Context: The Force Unleashed The Imperial Incinerator Trooper is an elite unit specially equipped for crowd pacification. Easily distinguished by the red flash on their armour, Incinerator Troopers carry flamethrowers to disperse unruly populations and overwhelm troublesome combatants.

The 501st approval requirements are listed in black.

FISD Defines two additional, optional levels of costuming excellence: Expert Infantryman and Centurion. In the page below, requirements for Expert Infantryman are listed in blue. Centurion requirements are in red. Please visit the FISD web site for a full description of these standards.

For 501st membership only the requirements in black need to be met.

Blasters are not required for legion membership per our weapons policy.
The armor parts shall be made from one of these types of materials or like materials: White fiberglass, ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), or HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene).

Required Costume Components
The following costume components must be present and appear as described below for approval .

	Helmet For 501st approval: Traps (trapezoids on dome of helmet) and tears (area beneath the corners of eye lenses) are gray. Rear traps and tears have vertical black lines. Lenses may be flat or bubble, smoke or green sufficiently dark enough to obscure the costumer's eyes. The gray "ear" bars have three or four bumps, with a black outline. The bumps may or may not be painted. Frown is painted black and overlaps the teeth area. Eight total teeth on the frown are cut out. Tube stripes are medium blue, numbering between 9 and 15 per side with the curve bends extending backwards. Vocoder (vertically ribbed chin detail) is painted black Aerators (cylinders on either side of the vocoder) are black. Tears, traps, and tube stripes may be hand painted, decals, or decals that replicate hand painting.
	For level two certification (if applicable): Ears shall have no visible screws per side. Traps/tears and tube stripes shall be decals, no hand-painting. Traps/tears may be either ANH gray or a slightly bluer shade of ANH gray. The ends of the frown shall be squared off, not tapered to points. Ear bars shall have four bumps only, not three. Correct 'hovi mic' aerator tips. FX helmets are not allowed.
	For level three certification (if applicable): MRCE helmets are not allowed. ANHv2 helmets are not allowed. Lenses shall be bubble green only. Ear bars shall have only one or two bumps painted in black. Neck trim shall be of an s-type profile rather than a u-type profile.

	Neck Seal For 501st approval: Black with horizontal ribs, fitted to the wearer, and extending from the base of the neck to the top of the Adam's apple.
	For level two certification (if applicable):

	Shoulder Straps For 501st approval: These shall be securely mounted in front and may free float in back. They may be affixed with rivets, Velcro, or adhesive.
	For level two certification (if applicable): No visible rivets are allowed. Shoulder straps shall not have a flat end at the ends of them, they shall be ribbed 100%.
	For level three certification (if applicable): These shall be glued in front. These shall be glued in the back. Should straps shall be made foam other of flexible material instead of rigid plastic.

	Shoulder Bells For 501st approval: One on each shoulder. The shoulder bells are considered effectively symmetrical; they may worn interchangeably on the left and right shoulders.
	For level two certification (if applicable): Shoulder bells are rounded at the corners.
	For level three certification (if applicable): Shoulder bells shall be slightly pinched compared to ANH/ESB.

	Biceps For 501st approval: Biceps are fully closed.
	For level two certification (if applicable): No shoulder bell straps across the biceps.
	For level three certification (if applicable):

	Forearms For 501st approval: Forearms are fully closed.
	For level two certification (if applicable):
	For level three certification (if applicable): No return edge on the inside of the front of the forearm is allowed.

	Hand Plates For 501st approval: Roughly pentagonal in shape, the hand plates are mounted securely over the back of the glove. As an alternative to plastic, these may be made out of latex or latex-like material.
	For level two certification (if applicable):
	For level three certification (if applicable): Hand guards should be latex or latex-like, painted white, affixed to rubber gloves in lieu of plastic hand guards.

	Gloves For 501st approval: Black rubber, nomex, leather, or leather-like material, with no visible straps or logos. The fingers are enclosed, non-textured.
	For level two certification (if applicable):
	For level three certification (if applicable): Gloves should be rubber or rubber like chemical gloves

	Chest For 501st approval: Chest plate overlaps the abdominal plate.
	For level two certification (if applicable): Moulded lip around the bottom of the chest plate shall be present.
	For level three certification (if applicable): Fabric or elastic strip connecting chest to back shall be either black or not present.

	Back For 501st approval: Back plate contains a "O II" design with little or no overlap of the kidney plate.
	For level two certification (if applicable):
	For level three certification (if applicable): Back plate shall have no or minimal overlap of the kidney plate.

	Under Suit For 501st approval: Black non-textured material, either one-piece or two-piece construction with no visible zippers or logos.
	For level two certification (if applicable):
	For level three certification (if applicable):

	Abdomen Plate For 501st approval: The ab plate has a button area that matches the color pattern shown (3 dark blue + 6 black or all black); buttons are approximately 7/16" in diameter.
	For level two certification (if applicable): The three dark blue will be the three buttons closest to the belt. Moulded lip around the bottom of the ab plate (cod) shall be present. Ab plate button detail shall be inverted compared to ANH/ESB.
	For level three certification (if applicable): There shall be no visible rivets or brads on the left or right side of the ab plate, unlike ANH/ESB.

	Kidney & Butt Plate For 501st approval: It is allowable to have a separate kidney/butt plate for 501st requirements. If a separate kidney plate is used, it shall line up with the ab plate, with the top of the kidney plate being flush to or under the back plate The crotch area may nor may not have one visible snaps.
	For level two certification (if applicable): A separate kidney plate is not allowed - the kidney and butt plate shall be combined to a single back plate. Moulded lip around the sides of the kidney plate shall be present.
	For level three certification (if applicable): There shall be no visible side rivets on the kidney plate, unlike ANH/ROTJ suits.

	Belt For 501st approval: Belt face is made of plastic (TK ammo belt). It is comprised of 6 rectangular boxes, with three square buttons, one centered in the middle and one on each end. Belt proper is made of canvas, canvas covered material, leather, or vinyl, 3 to 3.5" wide. The color is be white to off-white. The drop boxes must dangle from the sides of the plastic front belt via white straps and are aligned under the plastic tabs of the ammo belt.
	For level two certification (if applicable): Belt shall be canvas or canvas covered, leather and vinyl are not acceptable. Belt shall be between 2.25" and 2.5" wide, not 3" as in ANH/ESB.
	For level three certification (if applicable): Belt shall leather, vinyl, or polyeurathane webbing, and the belt color shall match the armor. There shall be no square buttons covering the three belt rivets (one in the center, one on each side of the ammo belt). Corners of ammo belt shall be cut at right angles, not 45 degrees as in ANH. Drop boxes are closed in the back.

	Thermal Detonator For 501st approval: (a.k.a. O2 canister) attaches to the back of the belt. This is a gray cylinder 2 to 2.5" in diameter with white end caps and a white control panel pad, with controls closest to the right end cap.
	For level two certification (if applicable): The thermal detonator needs to be attached via metal clips approximately 1 inch wide, and should be all gray without silver stickers or silver paint.
	For level three certification (if applicable): The thermal detonator control panel shall have correct ROTJ details, not ANH/ESB.

	Thighs For 501st approval: The thigh armour is closed in the back. The ammo belt shall be installed on the bottom of the right thigh.
	For level two certification (if applicable):
	For level three certification (if applicable): The thigh armor belt shall be connected by brads/split rivets only - standard rivets are not acceptable. The bottom corners of the thigh armor belt shall be rounded off.

	Lower Legs For 501st approval: Greaves close in the back. The trapezoid knee plate is affixed to the left greave. Visible fasteners shall be allowed
	For level two certification (if applicable):
	For level three certification (if applicable): There should be no visible rivets used to secure the sniper plate to the left greave.

	Boots For 501st approval: White leather or leather-like, above ankle height, with a flat sole, and small U-shaped elastic sections on both sides of the ankle with no buckles or laces. Jodhpur-type boots or an equivalent style. Elvis or Mariachi boots are not acceptable.
	For level two certification (if applicable):
	For level three certification (if applicable): There should be no seam on the front of the boot (e.g. CABoots are not allowed). Boots should be lightly scuffed. Boots shall have a white sole (can be painted).

	Holster For 501st approval: Made of black leather or leather-like material.
	For level two certification (if applicable): Holster shall be worn on the right. Holster may be omitted from this costume.
	For level three certification (if applicable): Holster shall be attached via straps behind the belt using two white rivets in the middle of the strap.

Optional Accessories
Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present must meet the guidelines below.

	Flame Thrower For 501st approval:

	BlasTech E-11 For 501st approval: Based on a real or replica Sterling sub-machine gun, scratch-built, or a modified commercial toy Stormtrooper blaster.
	For level two certification (if applicable): Folding stock (does not need to function). A real or replica ammo counter - based off of a Hengstler counter - should be present. D-ring mounted on the rear. Correct style scope. Two power cylinders on the magazine. Scratch-built, resin cast, Hyperfirm rubber cast blasters should have a total of 6 t-racks on blaster (leaving the lowest row on the Hengstler side un-covered). Popular commercially available toy Stormtrooper blasters have a total of 7 T-racks (if you cover all the rows of holes) or 6 T-racks (if you cover the "open row" of holes on the Hengstler side. Below this, you must grind off the lower T-rack and drill a new row of holes).
