For 501st approval:
  • The costumer's hair or wig is red-gold in color.
  • The hair may reach from the shoulders to mid-back in length.

SL mara nebula scarf.jpg Scarf
For 501st approval:
  • The scarf is a long length of maroon fabric that includes a hat brim.
  • The scarf may be worn draped over the shoulders, or pulled up to cover the costumer’s hair.
  • The hat brim, similar in shape to the brim of a baseball cap, is made with the same orange-brown leather as the vest.

Green contact lens.jpeg Jade eyes
For 501st approval:
  • If the costumer’s eyes are not naturally green, then green contacts are worn to replicate the color of Mara’s eyes.
  • While considered an essential part of this character, contact lenses are not required for 501st acceptance. All persons wishing to utilize contact lenses are encouraged to first see their optometrist for a fitting.

SL mara nebula unitard.jpg Unitard
For 501st approval:
  • The dark steel-gray unitard is made from a low sheen material.
  • Four-way stretch material should be used to allow freedom of movement while keeping the bodysuit form fitting.
  • Alternatively, dark steel-gray leggings and a long-sleeved shirt, or leggings and false sleeves may be worn to reduce the layers of fabric around the torso.

150px Maroon and Black Dress
For 501st approval:
  • The dress is made with maroon and black fabric.
  • The long, wide sleeves are maroon.
  • The torso of the dress, which can be seen under the leather vest when it is unzipped, is black.
  • The skirt is made with four panels of maroon fabric, two in the front, and two in the back. The center front, center back, and sides are open.
  • The skirt panels are made with enough fabric to make them appear voluminous in appearance.

SL mara nebula leather vest.jpg Leather Vest
For 501st approval:
  • The inner vest is made with orange-toned brown leather, or a leather-like material.
  • The form-fitting vest is weathered, and includes an opening in the front.

  • The edges of the epaulettes are trimmed in gold cord or edging.
  • Strings of gold beads and gold cord are draped from the front and back of the epaulettes.
  • A few cords may be "broken" on the front of the left epaulette to replicate battle damage.

SL mara nebula boots.jpg Boots
For 501st approval:
  • The knee high boots are dark grey-brown.
  • The boots have conservative heels and no visible laces or buckles.
