IMPORTANT: The "Animated" armor design, seen in The Clone Wars CG Series, differs from the "Realistic" armor design used to create characters from the theatrical films and graphic novels.

Blankwhite.gif Helmet
For 501st approval:
  • Animated Phase I style helmet.
    • Movie style helmets are not combined with animated armor.
  • Armor is painted matte or satin white with light red details.
  • Narrow fin mohawk is White and runs along top of dome.
  • Black or dark green eye lens extends down through the entire frown area.
  • On each ear column there is a raised circle near the top 1" - 1.25" in diameter.
  • (4) Vents on each side of helmet below ear column.
    • Vents may be painted black or grey, or cut out and covered inside with black mesh.
  • Light red details include:
    • Light Red dome with a wide White stripe on each side leading up from eye area and arching toward the back of the helmet.
      • Each wide stripe ends in a split “V” tapering to two arch end points.
    • Light Red “V” stripe on the front face begins at the chin greeblie indent and runs up along the edge of the center visor and lines up with the inside edges of the white stripe details on the dome.
  • Cheek indents are Light Red.
  • Eight Light Red vertically elongated triangle shapes located along the base edge of the helmet and pointing up.
    • Four triangles on each side.
    • Front two triangles located in front of the frown.
    • Two triangles on each side, located between the frown and ear column.
    • Last triangles located just behind the ear column.
    • Triangle shapes vary in size with the front diamonds tall and slender.
    • The second diamond shapes are shorter and narrower in size, and the last two diamond shapes on each side are larger and located on each side, near the ear columns.
  • Primer gray helmet band around back of dome and down the “V” patterned indent on back of helmet.
  • Raised circle on back of helmet is White.
  • Armor is weathered with shades of grey.

For 501st approval:
  • Neck seal is black in color with no ribbing.
  • No logos or labels are visible.
    • If the seal is not incorporated as part of the under suit, a balaclava or other similar covering is acceptable.
For level two certification (if applicable):
  • Neck seal closes in the front via (2) small black snaps.

For 501st approval:
  • Animated style pauldron.
  • Pauldron has rounded black base.
  • Pauldron has six sections with two in front, two in back, and one on each shoulder.
  • Sections are light red.
    • Optional: Alternative design with two dark grey back sections.
  • Pauldron front section extends down to edge of raised Chest plate with center vertical seam.
  • Pauldron rear section extend down to cover entire Back Armor box detail.

  • A light red vertical stripe is painted on the center of each shoulder.

  • Upper Arms are rounded and seamless with notches on back lower edge where Elbow armor matches up.

  • Right Upper Arm has a white or light grey strap with attached triangular shaped white ammo box.
    • Ammo box is wider at bottom and narrower at top.
    • Outside facing surface is indented with horizontal ridge pattern
  • Armor is weathered with shades of grey.

For 501st approval:
  • Animated Phase I Forearm Armor
  • Armor is painted matte or satin white.
  • A light red stripe is located on the outside edge of Forearm.
  • Left forearm has a compad with (4) main square recessed areas and (1) slightly smaller square recessed area.
    • The smaller recess is closest to the elbow.
  • Armor is seamless on the outside edge.
    • Due to the shape of the armor, a butted seam is acceptable on the inside if required.
  • Elbow plate is integrated into the forearm, extending up to fit into the notch on the bicep.
  • Armor is weathered with shades of grey.
For level two certification (if applicable):
  • Elbows are separate pieces from the forearm armor.
  • Armor is seamless.
    • No visible traces of how the armor was assembled are shown.

For 501st approval:
  • Animated Phase I Hand Plates.
  • Armor is painted matte or satin white.
  • Armor has a light red stripe down the center.
  • Hand plates are mirror images of each other.
  • Hand plates have an angled peak that comes to a point over the index or middle finger, just past the main knuckle of the hand.
  • Armor is weathered with shades of grey

For 501st approval:
  • Black over the wrist gloves made of leather, nylon, or other low pile fabrics.
  • Gloves cover any exposed skin.
  • Gloves do not show any labels or logos when the armor is worn.

For 501st approval:
  • Animated Phase I Chest Armor.
  • Armor is painted matte or satin white.
  • Light red details are painted on armor.
    • Light red inverted triangle with sides starting at each shoulder, angling down to a point on the base center of the raised chest plate where the upper chest seam line starts.
    • Light red swooshes along each side start from a point high on the Back Armor, near the edge of the arm opening then arch down along sides under arm holes and up toward the side of the raised chest plate.
    • Swoosh markings end in front with a point.
  • Lower portion of the chest has a curved notch for the abdomen armor to fit into.
  • Chest and Back Armor match together at the sides and shoulders with no open gap.
    • A seam line is present.
  • Shoulder straps are placed over the chest and back armor at the seams.
  • Armor is weathered with shades of grey

For 501st approval:
  • Animated Phase I Back Armor.
  • Armor is painted matte or satin white.
  • Light red swooshes on each side start at points high on the armor near arm opening and run under the arm area extending onto the Chest Armor.
  • Rear center of back armor has detailed area that contains a O11 pattern.
  • Shoulder straps are placed over the chest and back armor at the seams.
  • Armor is weathered with shades of grey.

For 501st approval:
  • Holsters are painted matte or satin white.
  • Holsters are connected to a diagonal grey strap which connects to the right shoulder and crosses down to the left Belt Box.
  • Holsters are aligned with outside edge of Chest Armor and oriented with pistol grips pointed inward toward center of chest.
  • Right Holster top edge is aligned with bottom edge of Pauldron.
  • Left Holster bottom edge hangs over the top edge of Belt.
  • Armor is weathered with shades of grey.

  • Holsters have no visible attachment.

  • Animated Phase I Abdomen Armor.

  • Top edge of the armor is curved to match the chest.

  • Abdomen and Kidney armor connect at the sides with no open gap.
    • A butted seam between abdomen and kidney armor is acceptable.
  • Armor is weathered with shades of grey.

  • Belt is approx 3" tall and divided into 1.75" wide segments.
  • The front segments have a key/slot detail.
  • Two front belt sections are painted matte or satin white with the rest of the Belt painted light red.
  • Belt boxes are mounted at the hips.
  • Cod and Posterior armor are connected at the hips.
    • Butted seams are permitted at this connection if required.
  • Armor is weathered with shades of grey.

  • Animated Phase I Posterior Armor.

  • Belt is painted light red.

    • Butted seams are permitted at this connection if required.
  • Detonator is centered on the back of belt.
    • Detonator has no control buttons.
    • The detonator has 2 lines set in approx 1/2" - 5/8" from the edges.
      • Lines may be recessed or painted on
  • Armor is weathered with shades of grey.
For level two certification (if applicable):
  • Detonator lines are recessed.

For 501st approval:
  • Two rectangular boxes with one mounted on each side of belt.
  • Boxes are painted matte or satin white.
  • A light red vertical stripe is painted in the center.
    • The top side of the box is tapered outward.
    • There is an inset detail near the top of each box.
  • Armor is weathered with shades of grey.

For 501st approval:
  • Armor is painted matte or satin white.
  • Armor has light red over-spray.
  • Front of thigh armor has a flat triangular area near the knee with a notch cut out for the knee armor.
  • From the top of the triangle a ridge line travels up the front of the thigh to the top edge.
  • The upper outer edge has an angled section.
  • The armor is weathered with shades of grey.
For level two certification (if applicable):
  • Armor is seamless.
    • No visible traces of how the armor was assembled are shown.

For 501st approval:
  • Animated Phase I Lower Leg Armor.
  • Armor is painted matte or satin white.
  • A light red vertical stripe is located on front center.
  • Light red on Lower Leg Armor tapers to a smaller width at the ankle.
  • Knee armor is integrated with the lower leg.
  • The armor has a flat center triangle below the knee plate, with the single point facing downward.
  • The calf detail of the armor has a ridge wrapping around the back of the leg.
  • Due to the shape of the armor, a butted seam is permitted on the inside or back of the leg.
  • Armor is weathered with shades of grey.

For 501st approval:
  • White, ankle high or tall enough to cover the ankle and eliminate any black undersuit visible at the ankle area.
  • Boots are lace-less and have flat soles.
  • Boots have a light red center strip running from the toe to the ankle.
  • A strap across the top of the foot, and 2 flat white discs on either side of the foot, terminating the strap.
    • A Light red stripe matches the Boot center stripe.
For level two certification (if applicable):
  • Boots have accurate notched sole.

For 501st approval:

Manufactured by BlasTech Industries, DC-17 pistols are designed for use as secondary weapons. Because they are widely recognized for their high stopping power and firing rate, many battlefield officers use them as primarily combat weapons.

  • This is the animated variant of the DC-17 blaster.
  • The number of pistols carried is dependent on the amount of holsters.
