CC-1119, also known as Appo, was a clone commander who led the 501st Legion in a Republic attack on the Jedi Temple at the end of the Clone Wars. During the war, CC-1119 received training from the ARC trooper Alpha-17, where he was given the name "Appo." He served under Darth Vader during the Temple attack and later, when the Republic transformed into the Galactic Empire. Appo and his soldiers became some of the first Imperial stormtroopers, and alongside Vader he worked to suppress threats against the Empire.
+
-
From a 501st perspective, Appo is considered a standard 501st clone with the addition of the pauldron and ammo bandolier.
+
Appo wore this version of the armor while serving aboard Vader's Imperator-class Star Destroyer, the "Exactor". Working with Clone Commander Vill, Appo oversaw the removal of  Separatist forces from their holdout worlds.

Description: Commander Appo (ROTS Style)
Prefix: CC
Detachment: Clone Trooper Detachment
Context: Expanded universe storyline and Hasbro action figures

Appo wore this version of the armor while serving aboard Vader's Imperator-class Star Destroyer, the "Exactor". Working with Clone Commander Vill, Appo oversaw the removal of Separatist forces from their holdout worlds. Shown here is the Regiment Commander version of Appo's armor, sporting the blue markings of the 501st.

The 501st approval requirements are listed in black.

In the page below, items listed in blue are recommended features that will improve the quality of the costume. Items listed in red are intended to further enhance the finished costume.

For 501st membership only the requirements in black need to be met.

IMPORTANT: The "Animated" armor design, seen in The Clone Wars CG Series, differs from the "Realistic" armor design used to create characters from the theatrical films and graphic novels.
See this thread at clonetroopers.net for the differences between the sculpts.

This Visual Guide has been reviewed by the detachment staff and the LMO team and is certified for use as a minimum approval guideline for GMLs. GMLs are free to approve this costume type.
  • Any uncertainties or questionable aspects of the submitted costume should be brought to the appropriate DL/GML peer review section of the legion forum.
