Context: Star Wars The Clone Wars Season 2
Pre Vizsla was the governor of the Mandalorian moon Concordia. He was also the leader of the Deathwatch, a faction of Mandalorians dedicated to returning their people to their warrior heritage. Vizsla allied with the Separatists to aid in his quest to overthrow the pacifist Duchess Satine.

The 501st approval requirements are listed in black.

The Bounty Hunters' Guild defines two additional, optional levels of costuming excellence. In the page below, requirements for Level 1 "Notorious" are listed in blue. Level 2 "Infamous" requirements are in red. Please visit the BHG web site for a full description of these standards.

For 501st membership only the requirements in black need to be met.

This CRL is a work in progress.
While this costume must be approved by the Legion Membership Officer, submissions should still go to the local GML, who will post the application in the appropriate section of the Legion forum.

Please note that the use of the word "should" below does not indicate that a requirement is optional. All instances of should will be replaced with must as this guide is completed.

Required Costume Components
The following costume components must be present and appear as described below for approval .

	Helmet For 501st approval: Animated style helmet required. Ear caps are symmetrical, with no range finder. Helmet is dark grey / metallic graphite with a lighter grey visor area, blue cheek indents, a blue rear with a grey key slot area. Helmet has an off white / cream colored trident emblem painted on the forehead.
	For level two certification (if applicable):

	Cape For 501st approval: Light blue in color with grey stripes and a dark blue Deathwatch emblem. Worn over right shoulder. Attached via a black strap worn around the neck.
	For level two certification (if applicable):

	Flight Suit For 501st approval: Green-grey to charcoal in color. Blue stripes 1" - 1.25" wide run down the outside of the legs, and around the top and bottom of the knee armor. Has traditional Mandalorian style double sleeves. Neck seal should be build into the suit. No pockets should be present.

	Vest For 501st approval: Black leather or leather like vest. Shoulders should flare outward like wings.

	Chest Armor For 501st approval: Consists of collar armor, left and right breast plates, a center diamond and an abdominal plate. Must be made of a solid material such as fiberglass, styrene or sintra. Must have dimension and give the feeling of thickness and depth. Collar armor is blue with a 1.25" dark grey / metallic graphite line down the center. Armor Color is dark grey / metallic graphite to match helmet. Left breast plate must have two indented horizontal bars. The top bar must be colored red The bottom bar must be colored dark blue. Center diamond plate between breast plates must have a raised vertical rectangle as shown in visual references. The diamond is blue to match the collar. The raised rectangle is dark grey / metallic graphite to match the armor. Must attach securely to the front of the vest

	Shoulder Armor For 501st approval: Must have dimension and give the feeling of thickness and depth. Shoulder armor is blue to match the collar. Shoulder armor has red/off white details as shown in visual reference. Shoulder armor should flare out off the shoulders to present a wider than normal silhouette.

	Gauntlets For 501st approval: Gauntlet color is dark grey / metallic graphite to match helmet and armor. Gauntlets taper toward the wrist. Gauntlets have a seam on the inside of the arm with indents on either side of the seam as shown. Gauntlets have a stepped detail on the top center as shown. Right gauntlet has red markings as shown.

	Gloves For 501st approval: Black over the wrist gloves made of leather, nylon, or other low pile fabrics. Gloves must not show any labels or logos once the armor is on and cover any exposed skin.

	Hand Plates For 501st approval: Must have dimension and give the feeling of thickness and depth. Symmetrical, tombstone shaped handplates. Color is dark grey / metallic graphite to match helmet and armor.

	Back Plate For 501st approval: Must have dimension and give the feeling of thickness and depth. Color is blue to match the collar. Has a 1.25" dark grey/metallic graphite stripe down the center top. Collar and backplate do not overlap.

	Girth Belt For 501st approval: Brown leather or leather like material. 6-8" tall depending on the height of the wearer.

	Belt For 501st approval: Segmented belt worn outside of the girth belt. Plate size/positioning must match visual reference. Color is dark grey / metallic graphite to match helmet and armor. Blue stripes 1" - 1.25" wide on the sides, lined up with stripes on the flight suit.

	Codpiece For 501st approval: Must have dimension and give the feeling of thickness and depth. Triangular cod piece with rounded bottom edge. Color is dark grey / metallic graphite to match helmet and armor.

	Thigh Armor & Holsters For 501st approval: Must have dimension and give the feeling of thickness and depth. Wraps around outer thigh. Holsters are integrated with the armor. Must have no visible straps / attachment. Blue stripe 1" - 1.25" runs down the outer thigh, to the front of the holster, lining up with stripes on the flight suit.

	Knee Armor For 501st approval: Must have dimension and give the feeling of thickness and depth. Main color is dark grey / metallic graphite to match helmet and armor. Outer tabs on the armor are blue to match the collar. Must attach securely to the front of the knees over the flightsuit with no straps or visible means of attachment.

	Shin Armor For 501st approval: Must have dimension and give the feeling of thickness and depth. Color is dark grey / metallic graphite to match helmet and armor. Each shin has a blue line 0.75" wide running along the outside of the center panel. Approx. 2" - 2.5" from the top of the shin, the blue stripes angle out from the center as they move toward the top edge.

	Boots For 501st approval: Black boots with silver soles and toe covering. Palladium boots Pampa Hi in black canvas are an example of an acceptable style (with the soles painted silver).

	Boot Armor For 501st approval: Must have dimension and give the feeling of thickness and depth. Color is blue to match the collar armor, with an oval center detail in dark grey / metallic graphite to match the armor, partially outlined in off white to match the trident pattern on the helmet. Boot armor covers the top of the foot, hiding laces if present. Boot armor must connect with no visible means of attachment.

	Jetpack, TV series style For 501st approval: Either the TV series or alternate paint scheme jetpack is required for approval. Animated style sculpt required Paint scheme as shown.

	Jetpack, Alternate Paint For 501st approval: Either the TV series or alternate paint scheme jetpack is required for approval. The alternate paint scheme is used on all Pre Vizsla merchandise: Action figure, Gentle Giant maquette, inflatable jetpack, Galactic Heroes etc... Animated style sculpt required Paint scheme as shown.

Optional Accessories
Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present must meet the guidelines below.

	Mandalorian Pistols For 501st approval: Animated style pistols to fit into thigh holsters

	Dark Saber For 501st approval: A hilt only may be carried on the back, in between the back plate and jetpack. If a blade is present it should be black smoked acrylic with white details.

	Obi Wan Kenobi RotS Saber Hilt For 501st approval: Pre Vizsla may wear an Obi Wan Episode 3 saber hilt at his left hip.
