A skilled and deadly Mandalorian warrior, Bo Katan serves as a Lieutenant in the radical Mandalorian splinter group known as the Death Watch, and as the leader of the elite Night Owls. Although a confident enforcer, showing no remorse or guilt, Bo Katan also possess a flirtatious tease. Believing the savage raider lifestyle is the true path for the Mandalorians, Bo is committed to restoring the glory of Mandalore's past.

The Bounty Hunters' Guild defines two additional, optional levels of costuming excellence. In the page below, requirements for Level 1 "Notorious" are listed in blue. Level 2 "Infamous" requirements are in red. Please visit the BHG web site for a full description of these standards.

For 501st membership only the requirements in black need to be met.

This Visual Guide has been reviewed by the detachment staff and the LMO team and is certified for use as a minimum approval guideline for GMLs. GMLs are free to approve this costume type.
  • Any uncertainties or questionable aspects of the submitted costume should be brought to the appropriate DL/GML peer review section of the legion forum.
Required Costume Components

The following costume components are present and appear as described below.

Bo Katan Helmet.jpg Helmet
For 501st approval:
  • The top and rear of the dome is painted blue.
  • The forehead and front mandibles are painted white.
  • A black “V” logo is located at the center of the forehead.
  • A dark colored, full one piece "T" shaped eye lens extends to the lower edge of the helmet.
  • The upper cheeks are painted a slightly darker blue.
  • The lower cheeks are painted with the lighter blue color.
    • The cheek areas are rounded at the top, unlike the more tapered cheeks of Boba Fett.
  • A medium gray rangefinder and stalk is located on the right side of the helmet.
    • The grey ear cap, on the rangefinder side of the helmet, is attached so that it almost closes the gap between the top and bottom half and sits lower than the piece that is formed into the helmet itself.
  • The rear helmet band is colored with the darker blue.
  • Back of the helmet is painted eith the lighter blue color.
    • Both shades of blue match the visual references as closely as possible in similar lighting.
  • The rear center key slot area is dark gray and nearly black.
  • The helmet is weathered matching the visual references as closely as possible.
For level two certification (if applicable):
  • A dark gray neck seal that does not attach to the inside of the helmet.
For level three certification (if applicable):
  • A servo motor attached to the inside of the helmet motorizes the rangefinder to arc 90 degrees.

  • Flightsuit is dark charcoal gray in color.
  • Single sleeved with long sleeves extending under the forearm gauntlets.
  • No visible zippers or openings.
  • Flightsuit allows for the attachment of codpiece and holster armor.
  • Pants fight tightly with a seam extending from the hips to the ankle.
  • Knee and lower leg armor attach to the legs.

  • Gauntlets are made of a solid material such as fiberglass, resin, styrene, sintra or Vac-formed ABS.
  • Gauntlets are painted blue.
  • Armor opens on the inside of the forearm with an internal hinging method.
    • No Hinges or Rivets are seen on the outside of the arm.
  • Right gauntlet contains the following components:
    • Five illuminated buttons on the top.
      • Four of which are red and in a row, the last being perpendicular and behind the firsts row on the outside.
    • A white button is next to it, in the same plane as the first row.
    • Two forward facing grey or silver blasters, in front of middle section.
    • Two vertical slights on the outside of the blasters for exploding disc to be expelled.
    • A slit for blade disc to be expelled (over wrist opening).
    • Red colored range finder target.
  • Left gauntlet contains the following components:
    • Four forward facing darts in front of middle section.
    • Five illuminated buttons on the top.
      • Three of which are red and in a row, the other two red and white behind the first row with the outside button being red.
    • Next to the white button are 2 non-illuminated gray buttons.
    • A grey or silver electrical grappling hook in the middle.
    • A slot for the hidden knife to extend or retract (over wrist opening).
  • Armor is weathered where indicated in visual references to give the illusion of battle wear and damage.
For level two certification (if applicable):
  • Illuminating duel blaster on the right gauntlet.
  • Retractable knife on the left gauntlet.

  • Charcoal grey gloves made of a thin, soft material.
    • Same or similar to the material used for the flight suit.
  • Gloves are worn tucked underneath the gauntlets.

  • Flak Vest is charcoal gray in color.
  • Vest is made from the same, or similar material as the flight suit.
  • Vest is as seamless as possible.
  • Neck area is surrounded by a turtleneck or tight neck seal.
  • Shoulders do not flare outward like wings.
  • A light blue-grey rim around the short sleeve, mid way at the bicep.
  • The length of the vest is long enough to be worn under the girth belt.
  • Flak Vest allows for the attachment of chest, back, belly, shoulder and collar armor.

  • Jetpack has the following main components:
    • One center tank and two side fuel tanks.
    • Two side mounted thrusters and three cone shaped missiles.
  • A tan pin stripe is located on both sides the center tank and wraps around each of the three cone shaped missile bases.
  • A 1in horizontal tan ring wraps around each of the upper tanks, under each of the 3 cones.
  • A vertical blue strip extends along the center of the main center tank.
  • (2) parallel horizontal tan stripes across the main tank, perpendicular to the blue vertical stripe.
  • Jetpack attaches snugly against the back armor in the proper centered position.
  • Colors and weathering match visual references as closely as possible.
