Dengar's Backpack Components

For 501st approval:
  • Shelf frame. A correct bend on frame is suggested but not required.
  • Three main boxes, an upper box, center section, and lower tube section that are the approximate width of the backpack frame.

For 501st approval:
  • Made of a textured cloth.
  • Brown is suggested.
  • Held to the pack by two straps or bands.

  • Has vents on the side
  • Silver greeblie as shown
For level two certification (if applicable):
  • Vents are opened and inside is visible

For 501st approval:
  • A strap goes around the right side of the tube and up the right side of the center section.
  • The right side tube-strap twists once before going underneath the vent on the right side.

For 501st approval:
  • An approx. 1" strap covers the top of the frame.
  • A tapered strap is attached to the center section and goes across the face of the vent.
For level two certification (if applicable):
  • Thirteen veritcal fins
  • Seven divots across the top of the frame and seven divots across the top.

For 501st approval:
  • Wound up encircling the canteen
For level two certification (if applicable):
  • Has a white stripe in the pattern

For 501st approval:
  • Multi level bowl with a seperate can in the center.
  • Strap is encircling the circumference of the canteen.
  • Strap that is attached to the frame between the center section of the pack and the tube, goes across the canteen with a buckling clasp in the center.
For level two certification (if applicable):
  • Spoke like cap is recessed on the end the can.
For level three certification (if applicable):
  • Accurate straps and accurate buckling parts are required.
